Our Story

St. Luke’s in St. Michaels, MD is a body of Christian believers who recognize and worship a Triune God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God is our Creator. We have confessed that Jesus Christ is our Savior, recognizing Jesus as God’s sinless Son who was sent into this world to redeem us from sin through the sacrifice of his perfectly sinless life and through his resurrection from the dead. Following his resurrection Christ returned to Heaven. His sacrifice offers us a relationship with our holy God, the Father, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. As Christians we seek to share this message of salvation with others, without prejudice, by allowing God’s Holy Spirit to minister to others through us. We seek to live out God’s love through loving others as Christ did during his time on earth. Christ’s example is our model. The Bible is our guidebook. We invite you to join us as we strive to live out God’s calling in this place.
