St. Luke’s in St. Michaels, MD, is a body of Christian believers who recognize that Jesus Christ is our Savior, acknowledging Jesus as God’s Son who was sent into this world to redeem us from sin through his resurrection.  As Christians we seek to share this message of salvation with others, without prejudice.

 

We are a congregation that believes God is at work among us and calls this church to serve with purpose. Scripture encourages us to remain steady in holy labor: “Therefore, my beloved, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, because you know that in the Lord your labor is not in vain”

(1 Corinthians 15:58).

 

We are a congregation with a willingness to face our realities with honesty and to seek God’s direction together.  At St. Luke’s we are experiencing a renewal.  This is how renewal begins, not with avoidance, but with unity, clarity, and a shared desire to be guided by the Holy Spirit.  We believe God is renewing us, giving fresh strength for the work before us.
